CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Helping To Keep You Safe And Healthy

Dear Clients,

It has always been a priority to provide a safe and healthy environment for our clients. This hasn’t changed however there have been some extra precautionary measures made in accordance with government guidelines to keep us all safe and minimize risk of COVID-19 transmission.

To further promote the health and safety of clients, we have outlined some of the extra measures implemented below:

Consent Form

Safety procedures will start with a Covid-19 consent form that ensures that both client and trainer are healthy. Covid-19 consent forms can also be found via the Shapez Athletic resources page.  Please email the completed form to marvin.morgan@shapezathletic.com prior to your session, otherwise the session will not take place.

(Please note: the content of this form is subject to change due to the unknown characteristics of Covid-19. When a revised Consent Form is introduced a new signature will be required.)

Massage

The therapist’s hands and equipment will be thoroughly sanitised, before and after all sessions (as always).

Fresh clean towels and covers (as always) before each Sports Massage sessions.

If you have made a Sports Massage booking, consider having a shower pre-treatment as a precaution. Having a shower also helps the muscles loosen up for the treatment.

Trainer/Therapist

Trainer/therapist will wear masks to appointments at client’s request.

Masks are not mandatory for clients.

Trainer/therapist will clean and sanitise commonly touched surfaces in the vehicle before and after each booked location.

Our Clients

You can state whether or not they require the therapist or trainer to wear a mask throughout the duration of their visit.

If you have experiencing any covid‐19 symptoms within the last 48 hours please postpone, cancel or avoid making an appointment. This will help protect not only the therapist/trainer but future clients as well.

Symptoms can include:

•  Fever (37.8ºC or more).
•  Sore throat.
•  Persistent cough (coughing a lot for more than an hour, 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours or worsening of a pre-existing cough).
•  Shortness of breath (e.g. difficulty breathing).
•  Sudden change or loss in your normal sense of taste and smell.
•  Flu like symptoms (e.g. body aches).

If you are displaying symptoms of covid-19 please don’t book another session for 14 days.

No late cancellation fees for anyone cancelling a sessions due to having covid symptoms.

Fitness Training

Social distancing measures for Personal and Group Training session.

Group training sessions have been reduced to a maximum of 5 clients at any one time.

Trainers hands and equipment will be thoroughly sanitised, before and after all sessions (as always).

Please note that physical touching may be necessary to ensure proper technique and body alignment. It is your responsibility to let the trainer know if you prefer not to be touched or adjusted.

If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days after a scheduled booking, please let us and the National Health Service (NHS) know, so that proper tracing can begin. I also promise to do the same.

The well-being of our clients has always remained paramount, so you can be assured that we will be following government updates on this ever changing situation. We will continue to do everything we can to help provide a safe environment.
