“I’ve been training with Marvin at Shapez Athletic for 9 months and it has made an incredible improvement to my fitness and and physique. Initially I hired Marvin to help me ‘get in shape’ just before my wedding, yet found myself continuing training with him throughout the year as the benefits and improvements were obvious.
Marvin has tailored my fitness program to me personally and regularly assess my fitness by way of weigh ins, and by monitoring blood pressure, lung capacity and inch loss.
Having tried other group fitness classes, I found the ‘one on one sessions’ well suited to my personal fitness goals and lifestyle. Marvin asked plenty of questions regarding my fitness aspirations and tailors a ten week plan to help me achieve my goals.
I feel Marvin also offers excellent value for money, not only in terms of the pricing in relation to the competition, but because I get a full hour of training, with warm ups and warm downs generally outside of the 60 minutes of training itself.
Marvin is also on hand to offer me dietary advice, massage, injury avoidance exercises and extra curricular exercise plans outside of our training sessions. Additionally (and importantly) he’s a friendly, approachable guy and very easy to get along with.”

“When I really needed to get into that dress for my big day Marvin proved that however impossible the work appears, it can be done!

After a detailed assessment to see what was required we followed through a structured training program for 10 weeks that resulted in much wanted inch loss in the places I needed it (mostly upper arms and tummy). Marvin also instructed me on how to keep up the effort, stay toned and eat more wisely to stay in trim.
